In the 8 hours since I touched down in Mexico City I've been exploring nonstop, mostly via food. That also happens to be the agenda for the next 6 days. It is going to be a ridiculously great week and there will be lots to see.
To get started, here is the guy who made me dinner tonight. I don't know his name, but I can vouch for the work he does here at Taquitos Frontera (apparently, not to be confused with the location a block further east). Just look at those charred whole onions. Give the man five dollars and he'll give you a crispy, chewy, salty, cheesy dinner for two.
One night and I'm already in love with this city.
